Dear de Anza Members,
In Compliance with the California Governor’s order, de Anza management and the Board have made the difficult, but prudent decision to officially close the Club, effective today at 3:00 pm - March 20, 2020.  This measure is to safe guard the health and well-being of all Members, Staff and the community at large.
Since we do not know the duration of this closure, the decision has also been made to adjust the required ‘house minimum spend’ for the current fiscal year. Any amount that you have remaining to meet your annual F&B minimum, will carry forward to our next fiscal year (November 1, 2020 – May 31, 2021). We remain hopeful that we will be able to reopen November 1, 2020, once we know our re-opening date, Management and the Board of Directors will review this again and provide any further updates to Members.
de Anza Country Club is YOUR Club and without you, we do not have a business or a Club in which to return to. We are in this together and are making operational decisions to safeguard everyone, for today and for our future. We thank you for your continued support and loyalty.
In these uncertain times, we ask that you please retain your membership, so that when we do re-open, we will have a membership base to serve and you will have a Club to return to and enjoy. We, like all other private clubs are a non-profit organization and continue to incur operating expenses, even while closed.
Club Management and the Board will continue to monitor the situation closely, along with the recommendations of State and Federal health authorities.  We will continually reassess the situation as new information is received, and we will maintain frequent communication with our members throughout the closure via email and the Club website.
Any remaining perishable food will be donated, on behalf of the Members to a local charity.
We wish every member and their family good health and safety and we thank you again for your loyalty and commitment to the future of the de Anza Country Club.

Club Closure FAQ's:
Will we continue to pay membership dues during the closure?
Yes.  de Anza Country Club is a private, non-profit organization. The Club relies on membership dues to pay for our annual operating costs, which we will continue to incur during the closure.
Will the Club take this opportunity to clean and sanitize all Club facilities?
Yes.  Thorough cleaning and sanitization of the Club will be ongoing.
Incoming and outgoing packages be available?
No we are discontinuing this service as we are closed – please use the US postal service
Will the Course be open?
No, the club is not an essential service and it is closed
Will the facilities be maintained and secure during the closure?
Yes.  All required maintenance will be completed throughout the closure, and management will be on site to ensure the security of the Club.
